These terms apply to everything sold and provided through this store by Beyond Distortion, operated by Jindřich Vala in Czech Republic. By buying a product or joining our community you agree to them.

What we sell

We sell digital products — sample packs, preset packs, courses and templates — as well as mentoring, feedback and coaching services. Products are delivered as instant downloads through Payhip once payment clears. Services are delivered as described on the relevant product page.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency of the store and may include VAT depending on your location. Payment is handled by Payhip and its payment providers. Your order is complete once payment is confirmed and the download is made available.

Licence for sample and preset packs

When you buy a sample or preset pack you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use the sounds in your own music productions, including commercial releases. You do not need to credit us, though it is always appreciated.

You may not resell, redistribute, share, give away or upload the packs or any individual sound from them, in whole or in part. You may not include the sounds in another sample pack, preset pack, sound library or competing product. You may not use the sounds to train machine learning or AI models. The licence is granted to you personally and cannot be passed on.

Courses and mentoring

Access to courses, coaching and mentoring is for you alone. Sharing logins, recordings or course materials is not permitted. Feedback and mentoring are our professional opinion — we cannot guarantee any particular result, release, signing or level of streams.

Refunds

Because our products are digital and delivered instantly, all sales are final once the download has been accessed. If a file is faulty, incomplete or not as described, contact us and we will fix it or refund you. See our Refund policy for full details.

Community conduct

Our free community is a space to get and give honest feedback. Spam, self-promotion outside the designated channels, harassment, hate speech and sharing pirated material are not allowed. We may remove anyone who breaks these rules, without refund where paid access is involved.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, images, audio, video and course material — belongs to us unless stated otherwise, and may not be copied or republished without permission.

Liability

We provide our products and services in good faith and as described. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost earnings or opportunities, arising from use of our products.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to it.
